6R's Beatiful Batique

Hi were going to tell you about 6R's Batik day ! A man from Africa came to our school and showed us how to make Batik his name was Mr.Foul. He showed us some pictures from his home country and what Batik he made...

First we had to draw a simple picture in a dark crayon. Next we waited for one of the teachers or Mr.Foul to check our work was complete and ready to do the next stage.

Later if your picture was complete you would be able to draw over your picture with melted wax with a thin funny looking paintbrush(it was made out of wire and wood not like a normal paintbrush)

Finally when it had dried your suppose to colour it with different colored ink but were still waiting for the ink to arrive! We hope you enjoyed 6R's beautiful batik blog .
